A usual activity during the stay at Masai Mara is a visit to one of the numerous Maasai villages or enkang around the reserve. If you travel on a package tour, you won't get off without it. Keep in mind that you will not meet the true life of the Maasai, but a nice show staged for tourists. In any case, be respectful at all times. And if you end up feeling disappointed or uncomfortable with the experience, at least you were warned.
